“Together We Can”

   The Park St. Ball Park is the second sports project by Friends of Hamlet. With local support the facility has been revitalized for the future. We have completely remodeled the Concession Stand Building. We have gutted the concession stand and replaced all equipment. The Field lightning system has been rewired or repaired as needed. Progress Energy replaced two light poles that were rotten. (Thanks for their help.) A new scoreboard will be installed prior to the new season. A batting cage has been installed to improve the field for practice time. Repairs to the backstop fence have been completed and additional fence repairs will also be completed prior to the new season. A new PA system and air conditioning system have been installed.
   The Field should host games for adult and girl’s softball and youth baseball for years to come.
